The Gray, ME Ride-Away location was established in 2003 as the fourth Ride-Away satellite location. By opening a location in Maine, Ride-Away was able to offer its customers another convenient location in New England.
The Gray, ME location has been, if not the best, one of the best vehicle modification companies in the state of Maine since 2003. The employees in Gray have served as a true testament to the kind of customer service and values that Ride-Away has lived by since 1986.

She wanted to work for Ride-Away because she has a true passion for taking care of people. When asked the best part about her job, Connie said, "Being able to take care of my customers."

A former entrepreneur in the leather goods industry, Barry felt as though that he has had a good run at life with his career endeavors and wanted to do something fulfilling. When asked the best part about his job, Barry said, "When I watch somebody who never thought that they could drive again drive out of our parking lot with a big smile on their face."

Patrick started working for Ride-Away in May 2003. A former consultant in construction equipment and heavy duty truck sales, Patrick wanted to work for Ride-Away because it is a growing company with a reputation for being a good place to work. Once he met his fellow co-workers, Patrick knew that Ride-Away was a perfect fit for him. When asked the best part about his job, Patrick said, "Working with Veterans. Especially the World War II vets, they truly are "The Greatest Generation." Its been a pleasure to give something back to a group that gave so much."

Doug has been with Ride-Away since 2006, and is currently the Service Manager of the Gray, ME location. Doug was quite nervous to take a service technician job with Ride-Away because he never had worked on adaptive equipment. Once he found out about all of the training and standards Ride-Away upholds, he felt more at ease. When asked what the most rewarding part of his job is, Doug Said, "Dealing with the customers on a day-to-day basis and seeing their smiling faces when they leave the shop."

Wendy started working for Ride-Away in October 2006. A former assistant for a trailer sales company, Wendy wanted a job that would actually help people. The more she talked to General Manager Connie Adams, the more Ride-Away intrigued Wendy. When asked the best part about her job, Wendy said, "The customers and being able to help them get back their independence."
