Ride-Away Maine Awards
Ride-Away is honored and proud to have received many prestigious awards over the years from our vendors, as well as many local and national organizations that we work with. As a part of our mission, we strive to exceed the expectations of our customers and vendors by acting with unexpectedly high levels of competence, commitment, and caring, and it has shown in the accolades that Ride-Away has received. Below is a list of the awards that Ride-Away has collected since we opened our doors in 1986.
Organization Awards
- SBA 100 Award
- The SBA 100 features one hundred businesses that have created at least 100 jobs since receiving SBA assistance. With the help of SBA, the SBA 100 companies have succeeded and created thousands of jobs across America.
- Business NH Magazine - Business of the Year 2011 (Retail/Wholesale)
The Business of the Year Award recognizes New Hampshire businesses that demonstrate leadership; achieve major business accomplishments; and support their communities, local economies, and employees. - Granite United Way GIVE Award
- Granite United Way recognized Ride-Away for their generosity through their workplace campaigns with their annual GIVE award.
- Business New Hampshire Magazine - Top 100 Private Companies
- Business NH Magazine compiles a list of the top 100 public companies with facilities in NH. New Hampshire-based companies are ranked are ranked by their assets, while subsidiaries are ranked by the number of employees they have working in NH.
- New Hampshire Business Review - Business Excellence Award in Transportation
The Business Excellence Awards recognize the imagination, industriousness, innovation, achievements and dedication to the larger community of people who often don't get the kind of public recognition that they deserve: small-business owners and operators. - U.S. Small Business Administration - Small Business of the Year
Ride-Away was recognized as the SBA Business of the Year for the way they exemplify small business practices as well as their commitment to their community. - U.S. Small Business Administration - Small Business Person of the Year
- Mark Lore was recognized as the SBA Business Person of the Year for his commitment and dedication to his company, industry, and community.
- Good Samaritan of the Year Award - Mark Lore
- The Good Samaritan of the Year Award is the highest recognition conveyed upon an individual by Frederick Memorial Hospital.
- New England Paralyzed Veterans Administration - Winter Sports Clinic Support Award
- The NEPVA gives this award to a company or organization that supports their organization through their various events over the course of a year.
- ALS Society - Recognition Award
- The ALS Society recognizes organizations and companies that show tremendous support to their organization throughout the year through sponsorships and volunteering.
- Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) - Support Recognition Award
- Awarded to Ride-Away for their commitment to supporting the MDA.
- Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) Connecticut Chapter - The Humanitarian Award
- Awarded to Ride-Away of East Hartford & Norwalk CT for their outstanding community support.
- National Spinal Cord Injury Association Greater Boston Chapter - Corporate Spirit Award
Given to Ride-Away for their dedication and commitment to supporting the NSCIA Boston Chapter at their fundraising events throughout the year. - United Way - Heritage Award
The United Way gives this award to companies that achieve their campaign donation goals for each year. - United Way - New Business Award
- Given to companies in their first campaign year with the United Way that achieve their campaign goals for the year.
- United Way - Winners Circle Award
- This award recognizes support of the United Way through all aspects of the campaign, voluntary leadership in the Community Solutions Councils, all-around campaign excellence, and use of "best campaign practices.
- Citizens Bank Community Champion Award (1st Ever Award Winner)
Citizens Bank presented Ride-Away with the Community Champion Award in recognition of many years of support for their local community. - Easter Seals - President's Club for Support Giving
Ride-Away was recognized for their continued support of Easter Seals through their yearly donations. - Continuing Education in Fund Raising (CONFR)
- This goes to an organization that has shown commitment towards the education of fund raising in their local communities.
Vendor Awards
- Ralph Braun Signature Award for Customer Satisfaction
- This award is presented to mobility dealers who earned the highest average CSI score in their respective regions.
- BraunAbility Customer 1st Award
This award is presented to mobility dealers who earned a score of 90% or above on the customer surveys that Braun had received. - Braun President's Club Award for Highest Sales of Braun Mobility Products
- This award goes to mobility dealers that have outstanding sales of Braun mobility products.
- Bruno High Level of Commitment to Bruno Independent Living Aids Platinum Award
- This prestigious award is presented to the dealers in the top five percent of Bruno's overall dealer base that consistently demonstrate superior performance in all areas of business measurement and achievement
- VMI - Highest Volume Dealer Award
- Ride-Away received this award for having the highest volume of sales of all VMI mobility dealers.
- VMI - Highest Volume Full-Size Dealer Award
- Ride-Away received this award for having the highest volume of full-size vehicle sales of all VMI mobility dealers.
- National Mobility Equipment sDealers Association (NMEDA) - 20 Year Recognition Award
NMEDA recognized Ride-Away for their commitment and loyalty to the vehicle modification industry by adhering to the highest standards in the industry for the past 20 years. - Freedom Sciences, LLC - Eagle Award for Sales Excellence
- The annual Eagle Award is the only dealer award that Freedom Sciences presents to qualifying dealerships based on annual sales achievement.
- RICON - Circle of Excellence Award
- This award is presented to the mobility dealer for their exceptional sales of RICON mobility products.
- IMS Regional Dealer of the Year Award
- Ride-Away received this award for being an outstanding mobility dealer for sales and customer satisfaction in their region for IMS.
